Fiberglass Batt Insulation

Fiberglass batt insulation has widespread use largely because it is generally the least expensive option available. The greener options of fiberglass batts are well worth the extra cost because of their increased health benefits. "Green" fiberglass is made with recycled content materials and has better indoor air quality properties than conventional fiberglass. The typical R-value of fiberglass insulation is approximately 3.7 per inch. It is cut and pieced together during installation which leaves gaps and cracks so it's primarily used for sound attenuation on our projects.
